JAPAN BLUE JEANS, a renowned Japanese denim brand, has partnered with Saito Kogu, a brand started by musician Kazuyoshi Saito, to launch their second apparel collaboration. The collection features garage-inspired jeans, a sukajan jacket, and a chambray shirt, blending Saito's love for music and craftsmanship with JAPAN BLUE JEANS' denim expertise.
The Collection
Original Garage Jeans Straight Model: Available in two washes, these jeans feature a unique blue selvedge denim fabric, a leather patch with Saito's original design, and a pocket lining printed with Saito's handwritten illustration.
Original Garage Sukajan Jacket: This jacket features original embroidery designs, including a cat playing guitar and a back design showcasing a guitar and jeans with hidden lyrics and symbols.
Original Garage Chambray Shirt: This classic shirt includes a guitar embroidery on the left front collar, reflecting Saito's desire to create a versatile and accessible piece.
Pre-Orders and Sales
Pre-orders for the collection will be available from February 14th to 23rd, 2025, on the Denim Research Institute online shop and at JAPAN BLUE JEANS stores in Kojima and Shibuya. The sukajan jacket and chambray shirt will be available for general sale in mid-April 2025, while the jeans will be available in late May 2025.
